For this project, the client approached Phalanx to deliver another top end identity for a new pro esports franchise. Susquehanna eSports is backed by a investment group that wants to build out a future set of esports teams and training opportunities. Having seen what we developed for Harrisburg University Storm we were considered the team to handle this effort. Our team handled naming, wordmarks, and some initial apparel thoughts.

Delivering a top-end branding effort for an esports team is all about the audience and what will build a fan base.
It has to look good on a jersey, a hoodie and on the back of a laptop. The brand has to resonate with the team and fans alike. The Soniqs naming is all about the ripples sent out into the gaming space.
